The Farm Theater will present Bullpen Sessions: Work of the Actor to kick-off The Artist Co-Op's Pop-Up Event, with special guests Raul Castillo ("Looking" on HBO; "Gotham" on Fox), Marin Ireland (Ironbound at Rattlestick), and Florencia Lozano ("Narcos" on Netflix) on Tuesday, June 7 from 6-8pm at the Centre for Social Innovation (601 West 26th Street, Suite 325). AMERICAN PSYCHO, which began previews on March 24th, just celebrated its Opening Night on Broadway last night, April 21, 2016, at the Gerald SchoenfeldTheatre (236 West 45th Street). The American premiere of a new musical based on the iconic novel by Bret Easton Ellis, which recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its publication, stars Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) as Patrick Bateman. Teatro Vista to Stage Chicago Premiere of IN THE TIME OF THE BUTTERFLIES

Teatro Vista announces the Chicago premiere of In the Time of the Butterflies, written by Lifetime Achievement Obie Award Winner Caridad Svich, based on Julia Álvarez's acclaimed novel, and directed by Ricardo Gutierrez, playing in the Richard Christiansen Theater at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln, April 16 - May 22. Opening night is Friday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. Preview performances run from Thursday, April 16 through Thursday, April 21. Regular performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for previews, $25 for Thursdays and Fridays, and $30 for Saturday and Sunday performances. Students and seniors (+65 years or older) with valid ID are able to purchase $17 tickets. Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more. MCC Extends THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE

MCC THEATER announced today the extension-by popular demand-of its hit comedy, Matthew Lopez's The Legend of Georgia McBride, now playing at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). The play, which officially opened on September 9th, will now play through October 11th. It was previously scheduled through October 4th.
