THE ROAD TO QATAR Makes World Premiere at Lyic Stage Tonight, 10/9

The world premiere production of The Road to Qatar, starring Brian Gonzales and Lee Zarrett begins tonight, October 9th at the Lyric Stage of Irving Texas. The show is written by Stephen Cole (After the Fair, The Night of the Hunter) and scored by David Krane. The musical was inspired by Cole and Krane's real-life experience that involved writing a new musical for Middle Eastern audiences. Performances run through Oct. 24.
Menier Chocolate Factory's FORBIDDEN BROADWAY Opens To Raves; Runs Through 9/13

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY is a runaway hit at London's Menier Chocolate Factory, where the show opened for a twelve-week run on July 2 to raves and crowds. The legendary theatrical lampoon, which ended (at least for the time being) its 27-year New York run on March 1, has been retooled for London and restaged for the Menier Chocolate Factory by creator Gerard Alessandrini and long-time collaborator Phillip George.
