Escola wrote the play and also stars as the central character of Mary Todd Lincoln. The plot centers on the First Lady during the weeks leading up to Lincoln's assassination. Watch the interview!

Tune in to see Cole Escola on Seth Meyers next week! On Tuesday, May 7, Cole Escola will stop by Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about his Off-Broadway (and soon Broadway) hit play Oh, Mary. The program airs 12:35/11:35c on NBC. It was recently announced that the play, written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton, will transfer to Broadway this summer, following its sold-out, twice-extended world premiere run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

The Philadelphia Artists' Collective has announced their 2023/24 season, featuring two highly inventive new productions that celebrate and challenge the expectations of classical theatre. PAC's diverse cohort of theatre artists, who stage rarely produced texts with visceral clarity in intentional spaces, announced the season at their annual launch party in Philadelphia, which was attended by dozens of patrons, neighbors, and friends.

I like my orchestral music organised around Northern talent. An evening of two halves, this BBC Proms event saw Nottingham (which is geographically more North than South, so let’s forget for a moment that it’s in the midlands) was repped by four-piece band Divorce. Then, Rotherham-born Self-Esteem - or Rebecca Lucy Taylor, a seedling national treasure – performed an hour-long set “with some surprises”, primarily performing her own work with new arrangements by Colin Elliot.
