The Novato Theater Company's second show of its 101st season is The Who's Tommy with music and lyrics by Pete Townsend, book by Pete Townshend and Des McAnuff with additional music and lyrics by John Entwistle and Keith Moon.

On Sunday, Dec 12th Broadway producers Tom D’Angora and Michael D'Angora were honored by Senator Brad Hoylman with a State Senate Proclamation naming it Tom and Michael D'Angora Appreciation Day in New York State’s 27th Senate District.  

New Long Island-based production company, The Rock Project, just presented its first live concert called BROADWAY ROCKS THE WHO at The Madison Theatre at Molloy College. This one-night celebration of music from The Who featured 3 contemporary Broadway vocalists backed by Long Island-based band Wonderous Stories.

Victorian Opera is et to stage the Australian premiere of The Who's Tommy from 22 February – 1 March 2022 at the Palais Theatre, St Kilda.

In a role approved by The Who’s Pete Townshend himself, Victorian Opera welcomes back rising star Mat Verevis (A Little Night Music, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Nine Network’s The Voice) as Narrator / Tommy.

A brand new production company called The Rock Project has launched right here on Long Island and is streaming its inaugural production nation-wide this weekend from the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.

Cerveris served as sideman for Hüsker Dü’s Bob Mould and shared stages with Pete Townshend, The Breeders, The Pixies’ Frank Black, Teenage Fanclub and beyond. The live participants that night at the concert included Neil Finn, Noel Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Kirk Hammett, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Jeremy Spencer, Zak Starkey, Pete Townshend, Steven Tyler and Bill Wyman.
