Kinky Boots, the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical, celebrates two-year anniversary on Broadway this Saturday, April 4, 2015, producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced. Kinky Boots, featuring a Tony Award-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, opened to rave reviews on April 4, 2013, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th St), where it's played 835 performances for over a million people… and counting!

TAKE IT FROM THE TOP is a series of exciting, interactive, workshops offered through MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts & Creativity at Wharton Center, running Monday, July 27 - Saturday, August 1, 2015. Participants - from Pre-Teens to Young Adults and beyond - receive a unique opportunity to train with a brilliant team of top Broadway professionals. Former instructors include top Broadway performers such as Tony Award winner for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, Billy Porter, who played Lola in 2014's Broadway's Kinky Boots and Shoshana Bean who played Elphaba in WICKED; to name just a few.

Miss P, the Beagle the who was named Best in Show earlier this week at the 2015 Westminster Best in Show, continues her NYC tour, making her Broadway debut last night with a walk-on role in Broadway's Kinky Boots. BroadwayWorld was there for her big night and you can check out photos below!

The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots is still bringing audiences to their feet nightly at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). Kyle Taylor Parker, who has been starring as 'Lola' in the National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, steps into the role on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for three months, taking over for Tony Award-winner Billy Porter. Parker was originally slated to begin performances tonight, January 27, but due to Winter Storm Juno, the actor will make his debut on Thursday, January 29, instead. Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kyle Taylor Parker, who is currently earning raves as 'Lola' in the National Tour of the Tony Award®-winning musical Kinky Boots, will step into the role on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for three months, taking over for Tony® Award-winner Billy Porter from January 27 – April 26, 2015. Porter will return toKinky Boots on April 28, 2015, and has extended his contract through January 2016.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots will celebrate its 500th Performance on Thursday, June 19th with a social media contest for fans. Beginning today, fans can enter to win tickets to the 500th Performance by using a Do-It-Yourself Kinky Boots Card to add the show's iconic red boots to their photos, and sharing those photos online using hashtag #Kinky500.. On Tuesday, June 17th, the five most creative photos will be selected, and the winners will be given a pair of tickets to celebrate with the cast on June 19th at the Hirschfeld Theatre.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots, the Tony Award-winning musical, will celebrate its 100,000th fan 'Like' on Facebook by offering free tickets to lottery entrants for the week of March 18-23, 2014. For this week only, the production will offer 10 pairs of free tickets to each performance, in place of the regular $37 lottery price.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Kinky Boots will welcome new cast members beginning tonight, March 4, 2014. Jeanna de Waal joins the cast as 'Lauren' (replacing Annaleigh Ashford, who leaves to join the cast of Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'), and Cortney Wolfson, who was previously in the ensemble, moves up to the role of 'Nicola' (replacing Lena Hall, who leaves to join the cast of Hedwig and the Angry Inch). Anna Eilinsfeld takes over Wolfson's role in the cast.

Original KINKY BOOTS cast member and two-time Tony nominee Stark Sands gives his final performance in the Cyndi Lauper, Harvey Fierstein, and Jerry Mitchell's Broadway hit, today, Jan. 26. Sands will be suceeded by Andy Kelso as 'Charlie Price' on Jan. 28.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced new leads for their smash hit musical Kinky Boots; Andy Kelso, who currently plays 'Harry', will take over the role of 'Charlie Price' on January 28, 2014 following Stark Sands' January 26 departure. Jeanna de Waal will join the cast as 'Lauren,' beginning March 4, 2014 (replacing Annaleigh Ashford, who leaves to join the cast of Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'), and Jake Odmark joins the ensemble in the roles previously played by Andy Kelso. As previously announced, Billy Porter, this year's Tony Award-winner for Best Actor in a Musical, will remain with Kinky Boots.

Kinky Boots stars Billy Porter, Stark Sands and Annaleigh Ashford and more joined the show's Tony Award-winning composer Cyndi Lauper for a special one-night-only True Colors Cabaret, last night, December 16th at Birdland (315 W 44th St). Lauper joined the cast of Kinky Boots to perform an eclectic array of standards, pop hits and other songs, with musical direction by the show's Tony Award-winning orchestrator Stephen Oremus.
