Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS will host a special free advance screening of WAKING SLEEPING BEAUTY, the highly anticipated new film, on Tuesday, March 16 at 7:30 PM at The Directors Guild of America (110 West 57th Street). Immediately after the screening, there will be a discussion featuring the film's director Don Hahn and producer Peter Schneider. The discussion will be moderated by Patrick Pacheco, who conducted interviews for the film.

Today, a preview clip from the upcoming season of Theater Talk has been released in which panelists Michael Riedel, Susan Haskins, Jesse Green, Michael Musto and Patrick Pacheco discuss the viability of the upcoming Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, now expected to open on Broadway in the fall of 2010 after financial troubles delayed a winter opening. Theater Talk, a weekly expose of world theater that airs on PBS Friday nights (PBS/Thirteen) and 5 times weekly on CUNY TV. Theater Talk makes its 2010 premiere tomorrow at 1 AM on Thirteen.

Gingold Theatrical Group makes history as the first company to present every play (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches) written by George Bernard Shaw with its 44th PROJECT SHAW presentation, WHY SHE WOULD NOT -- the author's final and unfinished play -- on Monday, December 14 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller, who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw readings during its initial four-year series, is set to direct.

The New York Musical Theater Festival honored TV's NY 1 ON STAGE and Sh-K-Boom & Ghostlight Records at its sixth Anniversary Season Awards Gala on Sunday, November 22nd at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street). The winners of NYMF 2009 Awards for Excellence, which were announced earlier this month, were also honored at the gala.
