The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey welcomes the fall season with a show that is a real crowd pleaser. William Shakespeare's treasured romantic comedy, 'As You Like It' is now being performed through September 29. The show features excellent direction with clever touches by Paul Mullins and a cast that is ideal in their roles.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) continues its 57th season, entitled Incredible Journeys, with William Shakespeare's As You Like It. Directed by long-time company member Paul Mullins, this timeless love story with a witty heroine at its center, has captivated audiences for centuries. 

Neurogate Entertainment, LLC (Nolan Doran and Nick Corley, producers) and Van Horn Group, today announced the return of The Golden Girls Musical Parody: PRIDE Edition to be performed at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) from June 19-July 6, for three weeks only.

The 2018 season continues with the Broadway At Music Circus premiere of the mega-hit musical comedy Mamma Mia!, which has been seen by millions of people worldwide and launched two enormously popular movies.  The plot involves a woman who, on the eve of her wedding, attempts to discover the identity of her father by bringing three men from her mother's past back to an island paradise.  Featuring more than 20 hit songs by pop super-group ABBA, including "Dancing Queen," "Take a Chance on Me," "The Name of the Game" and "The Winner Takes It All," this high-spirited, feel-good international sensation has audiences singing and dancing in the aisles.  Performances of Mamma Mia! are Tuesday, August 7 through Sunday, August 12 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.  Ticket availability for the show is extremely limited due to high demand.

Folk revolutionary Guthrie showed you can strum a revolution with joy. Current troubadour David M. Lutken and friends celebrate the fascinating, beautiful, and sometimes tragic life of the legend who inspired Dylan, Springsteen, DiFranco, and an entire songwriting tradition. Featuring 15 instruments, 25 songs, and comprised almost entirely of Guthrie's own words, Woody Sez runs August 1-26 on the Leonard C. Haas Stage in Malvern.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The casts include a number of Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Broadway At Music Circus debuts-and audience favorites from previous Broadway At Music Circus productions.

UMC will present an exploratory reading of select scenes and songs from the new musical The Bergen Letters on Monday, April 2nd at 6pm at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Due to unprecedented demand, Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) announced today a second extension for WOODY SEZ: THE LIFE & MUSIC OF WOODY GUTHRIE, directed by Nick Corley (Kissing Jessica Stein), which will now run through September 10. Devised by David M. Lutken, with Nick Corley, and Darcie Deaville, Helen J. Russell, and Andy Teirstein, WOODY SEZ began performances on June 1, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, and officially opened on June 8, 2017. The York Theatre Company's 2017 summer New2NY Series presentation of the new musical Me & Ella, written and performed by Andrea Frierson (Once on This Island, The Lion King), direction by the Tony Award-winning team of Murphy Cross and Paul Kreppel (Jay Johnson: The Two and Only), with music direction and arrangements by Ron Abel (Hazel, A Musical Maid in America, 'Happily Divorced') opened last night, July 16.
