HADESTOWN Will Play The Ohio Theatre Next Month

Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will come to Detroit in 2021. As part of the 2021-22 Broadway in Detroit Subscription Season, the show will play the Fisher Theatre, November 23 – December 5, 2021.

This fall marks the return of Broadway In Boston performances in the city of Boston.  Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album will be the first production to welcome theatergoers back to the Citizens Bank Opera House.

Joining the Broadway cast for a limited engagement will be Tony Award nominee Tom Hewitt. Hewitt will play the role of Hades until original Broadway cast member and Tony Award nominee Patrick Page, who is in production for a new film project, returns on Tuesday, November 2.

Tonight's the night! Each year The Theatre World Awards presents 12 awards to outstanding debut performances on and off-Broadway. After a year of no debuts, The Theatre World Awards, the oldest American award for debuts in theatre in New York, will return for a one-night virtual benefit gala honoring Broadway legends André De Shields and Patti LuPone with the 8th Annual John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in The Theatre as well as presenting Audra McDonald with the Dorothy Loudon Special Award for Excellence in Theatre.
