The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that multi BAFTA-winning actor and comedian Steve Coogan will receive the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy Presented by Jaguar Land Rover at the 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards. He joins previously announced honoree Jane Fonda, who will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film Presented by Cunard, and Jackie Chan, who will receive the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.

Millikin University's School of Theatre & Dance will cap its 2018-19 production season with the world premiere of 'Miss Me' on Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The production will be held in Albert Taylor Theatre located in Shilling Hall on Millikin's campus.

ABC Gives Straight-to-Series Order to REEF BREAK From Poppy Montgomery and Ken Sanzel

ABC has given a 13-episode straight-to-series order to a new crime drama starring Poppy Montgomery, produced by ABC Studios and ABC Studios International in partnership with M6. Montgomery will also executive produce the series, which is based on her idea, along with Ken Sanzel, who will write the series as well as serve as showrunner.

The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh and The Old Vic, London are delighted to announce that John Crowley will direct the World Premiere of Local Hero, a stage adaptation of the 1983 film, co-written by David Greig and Bill Forsyth, with music and lyrics by Mark Knopfler.
