After opening to rave reviews and a sold out run at New Jersey Rep. WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU!, by award-winning playwright and actor, James Hindman (Popcorn Falls), is moving to The International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival from May 9 - 14.

The Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara (ETC) announced today that it has named Scott DeVine as the organization's top business officer following a national search. Mr. DeVine brings nearly 20-years of theatre management experience to his role as managing director to lead the business and operational function for the company.

Boundless Theatre Company has been approved for a $20,000 Grants for Arts Projects award to support Boundless en Español. This project is an annual program that produces professional theatre in the Spanish language.

A 2016 winner of the prestigious National Theatre Company Grant Award by the American Theatre Wing, Classical Theatre Company is the only professional theatre company in the State of Texas that solely produces classical drama on a year-round basis, CTC only produces plays that are 100 or more years old. 

The National Theatre confirmed today that due to company illness in both Hex and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time further performances will now sadly have to be cancelled.

Barry and Fran Weissler are adapting the acclaimed 2002 independent film Real Women Have Curves into a musical. Sergio Trujillo has been tapped to direct, with Lisa Loomer writing the book and Grammy-winning dup Jesse & Joy writing the score, likely making it the first Broadway musical with a Latine director, bookwriter, lyricist, and composer.
