CAT Theatre continues its 50th Anniversary Season with Enchanted April which runs from today, March 21 thru April 5, 2014.

CAT Theatre will present Enchanted April March 21 thru April 5, 2014. This is CAT's second time to present Enchanted April, the first being in 2007. In celebration of CAT's 50-year history as Richmond's professional theater with a community heart, CAT patrons selected Enchanted April as the show they would most like to see repeated.

After the highly successful London workshop, which sold out in less than a week, and due to popular demand, Film Fest Lab has managed to arrange a second date for the Peter Webber Directing Workshop, this time in the sunny city of Lisbon in Portugal. The workshop is designed for directors, film students, or anyone serious about a career in the film business or the area of directing.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes Nihal Theatre Company in association with Louise Chantal Productions to Brits Off Broadway with the US premiere of DON'T WAKE ME: THE BALLAD OF NIHAL ARMSTRONG, written by Rahila Gupta, directed by Guy Slater, and starring Jaye Griffiths. DON'T WAKE ME: THE BALLAD OF NIHAL ARMSTRONG begins performances on Tuesday, April 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 20. Press opening is Sunday, April 6 at 7:30 PM. Roundabout Theatre Company has announced Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris will play the role of 'Eleanor Swan' in the Off-Broadway premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink, directed by Carey Perloff. The production will begin performances on September 4 and open Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Centre for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

'The Enchanted April' was written by Elizabeth von Arnim and the novel was adapted to the stage by Kane Campbell. The 1991 film version featured Miranda Richardson, Alfred Molina and Joan Plowright.

Museum of the Moving Image's ongoing series See It Big! presents classic and contemporary films on the big screen in the beautiful Sumner M. Redstone Theater. In November and December, the Museum will showcase 22 films photographed by some of the world's greatest cinematographers, including Gordon Willis, Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, Nestor Almendros, Raoul Coutard, James Wong Howe, and more. The series, See It Big!: Great Cinematographers, runs from November 8 through December 29, 2013.

Fox Searchlight has released the first trailer for, inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle. Directed by BAFTA Award winner Amma Asante and written by Misan Sagay, Belle features Gugu Mbatha-Raw in her first starring role along with Tom Wilkinson, Emily Watson, Sarah Gadon, Penelope Wilton, Miranda Richardson, Tom Felton and Matthew Goode. The film was produced by Damian Jones. The film is scheduled to be released in Spring 2014. Check out the trailer below!

Fox Searchlight Pictures Presidents Nancy Utley and Stephen Gilula announced today that the company has acquired most worldwide rights including North America and the United Kingdom to Belle.

With the record-breaking success of the National Geographic Channel (NGC) factual drama of Bill O'Reilly's best-selling history 'Killing Lincoln,' NGC President Howard T. Owens announced today that the network will once again join forces with Scott Free Productions to produce a film based on 'Killing Jesus: A History,' the recently announced book from O'Reilly with co-author Martin Dugard, to be published by Henry Holt and Company on Sept. 24, 2013. The announcement comes as the network is also in pre-production on the film adaptation of 'Killing Kennedy,' expected to air globally on National Geographic Channels later this year.

BAFTA has today announced the nominations for its annual British Academy Television Craft Awards, which honour the very best behind-the-scenes talent from television. This year's ceremony will be held at The Brewery, in the City of London, on Sunday 28 April.

THE MUPPETS 2 is now dated for March 21, 2014, Disney announced today. To make room for their second outing, the studio has also bumped Angelina Jolei's MALEFICENT from the same date, to July 2, 2014.
