CNN's THE HISTORY OF COMEDY Returns for Season Two on Sunday, July 15

On Friday, June 1, Governor General Julie Payette presented a Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award to Second City CEO and Executive Producer Andrew Alexander. Trump in Space, winner of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival Encore! Producer's Award, has announced the second extension of its run of Friday nights at The Second City Hollywood Studio Theatre. Directed by Can Evrenol (Baskin), who also co-wrote the film with Cem Özüduru, the film stars Clementine Poidatz (Shut-In) and David Sakurai (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald). RLJE Films plans to release the film in the fall of 2018.

According to Deadline, Margot Robbie and her LuckyChap Entertainment (I, Tonya) is partnering with the Australian Broadcasting Company, Aussie production company Hoodlum (Secrets & Lies) and ABC Studios International on a new ten-part series, retelling the work of Shakespeare from female perspectives.
