The Blue Riders will present Jason Pizzarello's (When I Had Three Sisters with Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab; Saving the Greeks: One Tragedy at a Timewith Push Productions) post-apocalyptic drama, After People Like You for a limited engagement, today, December 11-14 at the East 13th Street Theater(Classic Stage Company, 136 East 13th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue).

Primary Stages held their annual Gala last night, November 11, at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The event honored Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang and President of the General Counsel at Dramatists Play Service, Stephen Sultan. The evening featured performances by Rachel deBenedet (Catch Me If You Can, Addams Family), Alan Paul (Grease, Oliver!, Manhattan Transfer), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Adrift in Macao), and Alton F. Victor Lesniewski, in association with Plum Productions, is proud to present Cloven Tongues, the new play by Lesniewski, which will premiere at New York City's The Wild Project under the direction of Michelle Bossy. The production will star Ema Lakovi? (Displaced Wedding), Casey Biggs ('Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'), Alex Mickiewicz (Williamstown Theatre Festival), and Catherine Curtin ('Orange Is the New Black').

Victor Lesniewski, in association with Plum Productions, presents Cloven Tongues, the new play by Lesniewski, which premieres at New York City's The Wild Project, under the direction of Michelle Bossy. Cloven Tongues, which was a finalist for the O'Neill National Playwrights Conference in 2013, will play a 3 week engagement at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) starting November 8, 2013. Back for its sixth summer, the Fordham Alumni Company will present six theatre and dance-pieces, each with a connection to Fordham Alumni. From a pool of over thirty applicants, these works were granted rehearsal space and time, as well as a culminating workshop performance at Fordham's Lincoln Center campus. All performances will be presented at the Veronica Lally Kehoe Theater at Fordham College at Lincoln Center (113 W. 60th St., NYC). Admission is free. Primary Stages has announced its newest training program, PS[NYC], the Primary Stages Theater Semester in New York. PS[NYC] is designed to fully immerse undergraduate students in theater and the world of creating new plays in New York City. This 14-week program is held at Primary Stages, one of Off-Broadway's leading producers of new works and home of the Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA), a multidisciplinary school with departments in playwriting, acting, and directing. PS[NYC] gives students maximum exposure to New York theater and the industry professionals who create it. Students will not only learn what it takes to make great theater, but will sharpen their critical thinking skills as well. Students will be encouraged to identify and nurture their own artistic inner voices, and will leave the program with knowledge, insight, and skills that can only be developed in an environment built on artistic excellence.
