When the first production of ALWAYS & FOREVER was on stage at Illusion Theater in 1996, it played to standing-room-only crowds for more than three months. After nearly 15 years of audience requests, Illusion Theater is pleased to announce the return of the hit musical revue, created by Richard D. Thompson, Sanford Moore and Garry Q. Lewis. Always and Forever, starring original cast members T. Mychael Rambo and Dennis Spears, will run August 22-October 3, 2010, at the Illusion's 8th floor theater, 528 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis (previews to be held Friday and Saturday, August 20-21).

The Court Jesters celebrate twenty years of SCARED SCRIPTLESS in 2010 with the IMPROV MARATHON: thirty hours of non-stop improvised comedy from 6pm Friday June 25th at The Court Theatre.The IMPROV MARATHON is 'a celebration of the past 20 years of Scriptless,' says Court Jesters Manager Kirsty Gillespie. 'The show has become a cultural icon over two decades: an entire generation of audiences have grown up with SCRIPTLESS at The Court Theatre'.

The Orpheum Theatre has announced the nominees for the 2010 High School Musical Theatre Awards. This program recognizes achievement in all areas of high school musical theatre in the region. Twenty schools are participating in this first year, representing public and private schools in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. On May 27, 2010 at 7:00 pm, students and supporters from all participating schools will gather at The Orpheum for the awards ceremony.
