NEW YORK, March 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Bloomberg is bringing its popular Square Mile Relay to New York's Financial District today, April 21, 2016 for the first time. The relay race will feature more than 100 teams from leading financial institutions who compete to win a $10,000 donation to the charity of their choice. Each team includes 10 runners who will each run a 1 mile course that winds through the Financial District and culminates in a celebratory after party at the finish line where runners and their friends will be treated to a live DJ set and complimentary food and drinks as the race results come in.

This April, the Brooklyn Museum launches the Android version of its ASK Brooklyn Museum app, which enables visitors to interact in real time with Museum experts. Heredia originated the role of "Angel" in the Tony Award-winning production of RENT; Rubin-Vega portrayed "Mimi" in the original Broadway cast; and Walker-Brown was the original "Joanne."

The Marfan Foundation is honoring the Weill Cornell Medicine Cardiac Team Drs. Richard Devereux, Leonard Girardi, and Mary Roman with a Hero with a Heart Award at its Heartworks gala on April 14. In addition, the Foundation is posthumously honoring Jonathan Larson, the award-winning playwright of RENT

Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Bloomberg and Freeman received The Fund's Medal of Honor, the highest award given by the 133-year old non-profit human services organization serving everyone in performing arts and entertainment.
