Before arriving for a two-week run at the Orange County Performing Arts Center from November 17 through 29, SPRING AWAKENING's Matt Shingledecker sits down with BroadwayWorld correspondent Michael Lawrence Quintos to talk about his life on the road, his roots, and what it means for him to be a part of the hit stage musical.

On Saturday, October 24, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire, a non-profit organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, threw a star-studded benefit concert that showcased unforgettable performances by some of the hottest talents on Broadway. The concert, BROADWAY WISHES, took place at the beautiful OC Pavilion Performing Arts Theater located in Santa Ana,CA.

On September 26, 2009, Alan Cumming will be making his U.S. West Coast debut at the Orange County Performing Arts Center with his one-man cabaret ALAN CUMMING: I BOUGHT A BLUE CAR TODAY. The show earned rave reviews in New York, Sydney and London; now his unique musical stylings will be on display during two shows at the Samueli Theater. Last month, Cumming took a few moments to speak with BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos to talk about his solo concert in Orange County, his upcoming projects (including the much buzzed-about SPIDER-MAN musical), and his work as an equal rights advocate.

The First National Tour of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL began performances at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on September 8 and continues through September 20. The opening night after-party in Founder's Hall was decked out in pink in honor of Elle Woods' favorite signature color.

In honor of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL?s debut visit to the Orange County Performing Arts Center, The District at Tustin Legacy declared this past Friday, September 11, 2009 as LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL Day. The special day was inaugurated with fun-filled activities that included a free live performance of the song 'Ireland' from Natalie Joy Johnson, as well as a demonstration of how to properly execute the ?Bend and Snap? by cast members Cortney Wolfson, Rhiannon Hansen, and Crystal Joy.

Natalie Joy Johnson, currently on tour as Paulette in LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, sits down with BroadwayWorld to talk about her early work, her gay iPod, and living her musical theater dream, one new city at a time.
