YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA (James Bundy, Dean; Victoria Nolan, Deputy Dean) presents The Fourth Annual Carlotta Festival of New Plays, May 8 to 17 at the New Theater, 1156 Chapel Street, New Haven. This March, be among the first people in America to see Will Eno's Tragedy: a tragedy at the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre. An apocalyptic comedy by an intriguing new playwright, Tragedy makes its American premiere as part of Berkeley Rep's 40th birthday party, directed by Obie Award-winner Les Waters. Presented on the intimate Thrust Stage, Tragedy begins previews on March 14, opens March 19, and closes April 13, 2008.

Aurora Theatre Company presents 'Private Jokes, Public Places,' a biting academic satire by Oren Safdie. Tony-nominated director Barbara Damashek helms this take-no-prisoners comedy playing April 6 through May 13 (opening April 12) at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley.

California Shakespeare Theater closes its season with 'As You Like It,' beginning September 13 through October 15 at the Bruns Amphitheater in Orinda.
