Music at Sharon is pleased to announce the details of its summer festival season for 2010. This music series was revived in 2007 to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Temple of the Children of Peace. Some of the best young and veteran talent to emerge from Ontario and beyond will be featured under new co-Artistic Directors Rick Phillips and Larry Beckwith.

Les Voix Baroques to Close the Music at Sharon Festival, 7/4

The Music at Sharon Festival, under the new leadership of Co-Artistic Directors Rick Phillips and Larry Beckwith, opened with a recital featuring mezzo-soprano Wallis Giunta and pianist Steven Philcox. Concerts are Sundays at 3 PM. The audience is encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, and is invited to pre-concert chats (included in ticket price) with Rick and/or Larry at 2:30 PM in the Temple. When possible, featured soloists will join in. All concerts feature a post-concert reception for the audience to meet the performers.

Tamzin Outhwaite is joined by Mark Umbers in the West End transfer of the Tony Award-winning musical, Sweet Charity. Matthew White's production of Sweet Charity, which completed its sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory last month, will open at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 23 April 2010 with press night on 4 May and is currently booking until 8 January 2011.

The Actors' NET of Bucks County continues its fourteenth season with a staging of Eugene O'Neill's stunning masterwork, A Moon for the Misbegotten. In 1920s Connecticut, sly Irish farmer Phil Hogan plots with his homely daughter, Josie, to have her seduce their boozy friend and landlord, James Tyrone, who inherited the farm but struggles as a stage actor due to his debauched lifestyle.
