The Original Broadway Cast Recording of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical will be released on all streaming platforms via UMe on November 2, 2022, and on CD and December 2, 2022, just ahead of the official opening night. The production released an exclusive behind-the-scenes music video of the cast, band, and creative team at New York’s famed Power Station studio recording Diamond’s classic song 'Cracklin’ Rosie'!

Manis Film announced that production started onBig Sky, the English-language debut of Mexican helmer Jorge Michel Grau (the original We Are What We Are). The film will star Bella Thorne (upcoming The Familymoon with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner; and Disney Channel's Shake It Up), Kyra Sedgwick (Emmy and Golden Globe winner for The Closer; The Possession; upcoming films Kill Your Darlings, Rays of Light and Reach Me), Frank Grillo (The Grey; End of Watch; Zero Dark Thirty; upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier), and Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables; Howl; USA'sGraceland). Principal photography commenced this week in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation held its second annual Champagne & Caroling Gala last night at Celsius, a restaurant, bar and event space within Citi Pond at Bryant Park (5th Ave and 42nd Street) on Monday, December 10. At this one of a kind urban winter wonderland in of the heart of midtown Manhattan, Broadway's brightest stars and patrons of the arts joined together for a festive celebration of the country's premier musical theatre training program. Former 'Saturday Night Live' and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn's one-man show, Colin Quinn Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, had extended its run for the second time at the Helen Hayes Theatre through Saturday, March 5th. Preview performances began on Friday, October 22nd and the show officially opened on Tuesday, November 9th. The show was initially scheduled to end its 11-week limited engagement on Saturday, January 8th and was previously extended through February 5th.

HBO will shoot the current Broadway hit 'Colin Quinn Long Story Short' for a special to debut on the network in April, it was announced today by Nancy Geller, senior vice president, HBO Original Programming. Recently extending its run at the Helen Hayes Theatre through March 5, the one-man show features the comedy veteran's take on world history and is directed by Jerry Seinfeld.
