Producer Joey Parnes just announced that casting for the First National Tour of the Tony® Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder,is complete. John Rapson will play the role of the eight D'Ysquith heirs and Kevin Massey will portray the role of Monty Navarro.

Broadway Sings for Pride will roar into their 5th year and celebrate New York City LGBT Pride with 'Roar', their fifth annual benefit concert, benefiting the Tyler Clementi Foundation. The one-night benefit, will feature songs that embody gay perseverance, marked by an array of musical performers from the world of Broadway, pop and beyond. The night will feature two special musical reunions from the companies of RENT and A Chorus Line.

Broadway favorite Frenchie Davis (American Idol, The Voice, Broadway's RENT) will make her Broadway Sings for Pride debut in 'ROAR' which will celebrate NYC Gay Pride. Frenchie known for her powerful voice will be apart of group numbers and a solo piece during the event. Frenchie appeared on American Idol's second season where she showcased her soulful voice. She made her Broadway debut in RENT as the 'Seasons of Love' soloist in the Tony-award winning show RENT. She was also seen in the starring role of Effie in a West Coast-touring production of Dreamgirls, which appeared in Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle. Davis also made it to the top 8 of The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team.

Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off its Summer Musicale Fest on June 18-28 with An Evening with Lerner, Loesser, Loewe…and Schwartz! Keith Baker and the BRT Band are joined by BRT veterans Matt Leisy, Elisa Matthews, Lindsay Roberts, Keith Spencer and Jessica Wagner performing hits from My Fair Lady, Camelot, Guys and Dolls, and more.

The Tony Award-winning musical with book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens is directed by Keith Baker and features Leslie Becker, Derrick Cobey, David Edwards, Tamar Greene, Michael Thomas Holmes, Matt Leisy and Ciji Prosser. MIDTOWN DIRECT REP (MDR), the resident theater company at South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC), has announced a staged reading of the new musical SEXTET, based on an original story by Chad Hardin, with music and lyrics by Hardin, and book plus additional music, lyrics and direction by Bradley Dean, on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 7 pm.

As previously reported, the highly buzzed about musical Ghostlight, by popular up-and-comers Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, presented an industry reading on Monday, January 13th at Theater Three on West 43rd Street, following two highly-attended backer's auditions on December 2nd at The New 42nd Street Studios. Kevin Lambert (Broadway's Godspell) presented the January 13th reading, which was directed by Realbuto and Martin and featured a starstudded 18 person cast, including Drama League nominee and Great Comet star Phillipa Soo, three time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello, Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli, Jennifer Hope Wills, Kimberly Faye Greenberg, Trevor McQueen, and Abigail Ludrof. Alison Holman (Freedom's Song) provided the musical direction.
