Frank Wildhorn, the American composer, and eighty members of the Wildhorn Musical family will simultaneously world premiere a video featuring 53 singers from 12 countries, representing 17 of his musicals, performing the powerful, 'Finding Wonderland,' from the Broadway Musical, Wonderland. Wildhorn, who has been posting popular 'Living Room Concerts,' brought together stars including Jeremy Jordan, Laura Osnes, Capathia Jenkins, Constantine Maroulis, amongst the cast from across the globe to support The World Health Organization's Covid19 Response Fund (covid19responsefund.org), the only global organization with a reach as wide as that of the cast on the video, while providing a musical love letter to the world at this unprecedented and unpredictable time.

A film adaptation on stage is always be trapped between different expectations: It can be too close to the movie or new settings or/and new songs may leave the audience unsatisfied. This show manages this fine line. Although I haven't seen the film for years, I am surprised how many details and phrases I recognised and which are used to bring the movie alive onstage.

BroadwayWorld has learned that the original Broadway production of Pretty Woman will end its run at the Nederlander Theatre on Aug. 18. PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will have played 27 preview performances and 421 regular performances by its final performance on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 7:30pm. The new musical began performances on Broadway on July 20, 2018, and opened a month later on Aug. 16.

The second international production of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will open in 2020 on London's West End. The hit musical PRETTY WOMAN will pay homage to legendary recording artist Roy Orbison by bringing the world-renowned masterpiece 'Oh, Pretty Woman', penned by Roy Orbison & Bill Dees, into the show in celebration of the 55th Anniversary of the venerable track.
