The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Joey Parnes, Interim Executive Director), Producer Mark Russell, and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP President and CEO Mario Garcia Durham) announced the exciting line-up today for the eighth annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 4-15, 2012 at The Public Theater as well as at partner venues around the city.

REDCAT (Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater) announces preliminary program highlights for RADAR L.A., an international festival of contemporary theater running June 14-20. The festival is produced by REDCAT in collaboration with Center Theatre Group and The Public Theater's Under the Radar Festival (New York), and a consortium including Theatre Communications Group, the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, LA Stage Alliance and the Los Angeles Theatre Center. $50 multi-event passes go on sale in April and will allow audiences to attend performances for as little as $10.

THE WALK ACROSS AMERICA FOR MOTHER EARTH - the newest work from Taylor Mac whose epic THE LILY'S REVENGE was a smash hit Off-Broadway last year - will be given its world-premiere in a production presented by La MaMa ETC in
association with the renowned, Obie Award-winning theatre company The Talking Band, with previews beginning January 15, 2011 prior to its official opening night on Thursday, January 20 at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan. The January 15th and 16th preview performances are part of the Under the Radar Festival, with a special ticket price of $20.
