What starts out as a contentious feud blossoms into a 30-year friendship. Set against the backdrop of racial tensions in the south, this Pulitzer Prize winning tale of the unlikely relationship between an aging, fiercely independent white Southern Jewish lady and a proud, soft-spoken black man is both humorous and heart-warming.

The original production in Los Angeles was nominated for six 2013 L.A. WEEKLY Theatre Awards. Performances will be taking place at the Old Arizona Studio tonight, February 1st through the 23rd. There will be a special Pay-What-You-Can performance on Valentines Day-Friday Feb 14th. Thurs-Sat performances are at 7PM and on Sundays, at 2PM .
