The Obie and Drama Desk Award-winning Ma-Yi Theater Company -- one of the nation's leading theaters dedicated to developing and producing new and innovative plays by Asian American writers -- will celebrate its 25th anniversary season in 2013-14, beginning with the New York premiere of BIKE AMERICA by Mike Lew, with previews September 24 prior to an official opening night on October 1 Off-Broadway at The Theater at St. Clement's (423 W. 46 St.) in Manhattan.

This Fall will bring with it ten new Broadway plays and five new Broadway musicals, and yet there is even more on the way for Off-Broadway, including: ALL THE FACES OF THE MOON, ARGUENDO, THE OLD FRIENDS, FETCH CLAY MAKE MAN, BIKE AMERICA, NATURAL AFFECTION, FUN HOME, BAD JEWS, LADY DAY, ANTHEM, GRASSES OF A THOUSAND COLORS, THE PATRON SAINT OF SEA MONSTERS, THE JACKSONIAN, HOW I LEARNED WHAT I LEARNED, CHERI, DOMESTICATED, LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME, THE (CURIOUS CASE OF THE) WATSON INTELLIGENCE, and THE COMMONS OF PENSACOLA.

No Name Comedy / Variety producer Eric Vetter recently announced three June 2013 shows at Otto's in Manhattan. On Friday June 14th @ 7:00pm performers including storyteller Adam Wade (two-time MOTH Grand Slam winning storyteller), comedic actress Marilyn Torres (Tribeca Theater Festival) and comedian Liz Miele (Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart') are scheduled to take the stage.

The Alliance National Graduate Playwriting Competition continues to spotlight the best emerging playwrights with a full production for the competition winner and staged readings for four competition finalists. BIKE AMERICA, the ninth competition winner, will premiere on the Hertz Stage today, February 1 - 24, 2013. Opening night is February 6, 2013. BIKE AMERICA is written by Mike Lew from the Juilliard Drama Division and will be directed by Mortiz von Stuelpnagel.

Broadway stars opened their hearts and joined forces Monday evening, March 26 to raise awareness and humanitarian aid for Darfur with 'Songs for Darfur: The Water Project' at the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew in Manhattan.

An array of Broadway stars will take part in 'Songs for Darfur: The Water Project,' a one-night-only benefit concert at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew on Monday, March 26 at 7 P.M

Tony Award-winning actress Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Broadway star Cheyenne Jackson (All Shook Up), and acclaimed singer/songwriter Jane Kelly Williams lend their hearts and voices to a worthy cause as hosts of SONGS FOR DARFUR: THE WATER PROJECT, a benefit concert to raise money for Darfur relief efforts.
