One September night in 1941, the German Nobel Prize-winning physicist Werner Heisenberg visited his friend and mentor Niels Bohr in Nazi-occupied Denmark. The two went for a walk, and their conversation ended in an argument, stemming from Heisenberg's revelation that he was leading a research effort that might provide Nazi Germany with atomic weapons. What was said and exactly why Heisenberg came to Copenhagen in the first place has remained a puzzle ever since.

Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, writers of the 2006 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Jersey Boys, are the librettists for THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Drama Desk Award-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party) is writing the score, and Improbable Theater founders Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch (Shockheaded Peter) will direct and design. EET plans to premiere THE ADDAMS FAMILY in the 2009-2010 Broadway season, preceded by an out-of-town tryout.

JERSEY BOYS, which opened to rave reviews on November 6, 2005, continues to set new weekly box office records at the August Wilson Theatre and has been among the top grossing shows on Broadway ever since.
