Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma has announced its 2012 to 2013 season and prepares to celebrates its 40th Anniversary.

Keegan Theatre's producing artistic director Mark A. Rhea discusses the Washington, D.C.-based theatre company. The Keegan opens Tracy Letts' award-winning dark comedy AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY August 3, which runs through September 2, 2012 at the Church Street Theatre.

On Sunday July 29th, for the first time in NYC, Lincoln Center Out of Doors will present a day long, multifaceted festival of Irish culture. "Our Land" will celebrate the artistic, literary and musical heritage of Ireland, the mark it made on America and the continuing cross-cultural ties that bind the two countries.

The Keegan Theatre has announced its line-up for the 2012-2013 season, the company's sixteenth. All performances will be at the Church Street Theater in Washington, DC. Irish-American actor/author/former candidate for NY governor Malachy McCourt is scheduled to perform a one-night, one-man show at South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) called LOVING LIFE AND LAUGHING AT DEATH. The performace is Friday March 9th at 8:00pm at SOPAC, 1 SOPAC Way, South Orange, NJ. Tickets are $35.

South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) announces its theatre line-up for spring 2012. The line-up includes a Cabaret from Tony nominee Tom Wopat as well as an onstage reunion of RENT original cast members Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp.

Irish and Broadway stars came out Saturday night for Bill Whelan's first in a series of 4 concerts at the Irish Arts Center. Among the attendees: five-time Tony Award-winner Angela Lansbury, Emmy Award winner and two-time Tony Award nominee Andre De Shields, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, award-winning author Colum McCann, Consul General of Ireland Noel Kilkenny, Malachy McCourt,Chief Executive Eugene Downes of Culture Ireland, Aidan Connelly Executive Director Irish Arts Center, Pauline Turley, Vice Chair Irish Arts Center and many more. Whelan conducted the nine-piece orchestra, played the piano, told stories and sang along with special guests world-renowned fiddler ATHENA TERGIS, Irish singer MORGAN CROWLEY and Irish Dancer and former RIVERDANCE star MICK DONEGAN.

The Irish Repertory Theatre has been named the 2011 recipient of the Eugene O'Neill Lifetime Achievement Award, given annually by the Irish American Writers & Artists, Inc. (IAW&A).

Pulitzer Prize winning author and journalist William Kennedy was the guest of honor at a special toast at popular Theater District eatery, Trattoria Dopo Teatro. Longtime friend and noted film and theater producer Barbara Ligeti along with Trattoria Dopo Teatro owners architect Emilio Barletta & Giuseppe Manica hosted the reception to salute the author on the release of his eagerly anticipated new novel, 'Chango's Beads and Two Toned Shoes'.

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley has joined the cast of 'Isn't It Delicious,' according to Courant.com. She joins Keir Dullea, Mia Dillon, Kathleen Chalfant and Malachy McCourt.
