Westport Country Playhouse opens 'Lips Together, Teeth Apart,' written by Terrence McNally and directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director, tonight, July 12. The production will run through July 30, 2010. A perceptive comedy with powerful dramatic conflicts, the play is about two straight couples spending a July weekend on Fire Island.

Westport Country Playhouse has released a video, taped in rehearsal, offering a look at the upcoming summer sizzler, 'Lips Together, Teeth Apart,' Terrence McNally's perceptive and powerful dramatic comedy about two straight couples spending a July weekend on Fire Island, on stage July 12 - 30. Hartford Stage's departing Artistic Director Michael Wilson will be honored on Monday, June 20 for his 13 years of artistic leadership of the Tony Award-winning theatre. The Michael Wilson Tribute Celebration will be held at Hartford Stage's 50 Church Street theatre and will include performances by an array of artists who have worked at the theatre under Wilson's direction.

A: Cleveland Heights, Ohio-though we moved around a bit when I was a kid. One of my favorite homes was in Clarksville, TN when I was 5 and I won the talent show with a partially off-key, out of tempo version of "Chattanooga Choo Choo".
