The 20th Kids' Night on Broadway took place in New York City earlier this week, on February 9th, 2016. Kids' Night on Broadway an annual event when kids 18 and under can see participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A Kids' Night on Broadway ticket includes in-theatre activities, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more.
Lark Play Dev Center Announces U.S./México Playwright Exchange Program

The Lark Play Development Center in collaboration with Mexico's National Fund for Culture and Arts (FONCA) is pleased to announce the 2011 U.S./México Playwright Exchange Program. For the sixth year the Lark will host playwrights from México and pair them with U.S. playwrights, actors, and directors for a ten day cultural exploration which establishes ongoing channels of communication between artists in both countries. This year's partners include Borderlands Theater (Arizona), Repertorio Español (New York), and the Mexican Cultural Institute.

The Public Theater began previews on Monday, June 6 for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The two shows will run in repertory with the same company of actors through Saturday, July 30 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Last night marked the official launch gala for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park season and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the photo op!
