The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere of PLAYS FOR THE PLAGUE YEAR, written by and featuring Pulitzer Prize winner and Public Theater Writer-in-Residence Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Bessie Award winner Niegel Smith.

The Juilliard School will hold its 117th commencement ceremony on May 20, 2022, at 10:30am. Casting is set for Studio Theatre’s production of White Noise by Suzan-Lori Parks. Playing a tight group of thirtysomethings whose friendship is tested after they embark on a radical social experiment are RJ Brown (Leo), Katie Kleiger (Dawn), Quinn Franzen (Ralph), and Tatiana Williams (Misha). 

In addition to writing songs for a multitude of award-winning artists including Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Hunter Hayes and Reba McEntire, Lori McKenna also co-wrote “Always Remember Us This Way,” which was featured in the Academy Award-winning 2018 film, A Star Is Born.
