The Schoolhouse Theater presents LOVE LINDA, the Life of Mrs. Cole Porter, What is this Thing called Love? a celebration of the enduring legacy of the Cole Porter songbook. The one-woman tour de force, directed by Tony-Award-winning director Richard Maltby, Jr. and starring acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland, enjoyed a highly successful Off-Broadway run 2013-2014 and now comes to the Schoolhouse Theater for a very special limited engagement todays and Saturdays October 5,6,12 and 13 at 8pm and on Sundays October 7 and 14 at 3PM. The Schoolhouse Theater presentation of LOVE LINDA is the last chance to see this production in Westchester prior to the show's return to New York City.

Before writer/director Aaron Sorkin became best known for tv shows like The West Wing and Newsroom and movies such as The Social Network and Steve Jobs, he penned a stage play that may be more famous as a movie. Sorkin worked on the movie version of his script for A Few Good Men, a play which has more than stood the test of time as a highly entertaining piece of theater that also raises important themes surrounding power, who wields it, and how they use it. It's also getting a first-rate production right now at the Pollard Theatre in Guthrie.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) opens its Spring 2018 Music Series with Anton Batagov and the Attacca Quartet on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Jerome Robbins Theater. This varied evening of music features the World Premiere of Different Things from influential post-minimalist Russian composer and pianist Anton Batagov, paired with Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 18, No. 6. Batagov's Different Things will be performed by the composer (at the piano) and the Attacca Quartet, one of America's premier young string ensembles, along with Kris Saebo, double bass; Linda Jones, soprano; Luthien Brackett, mezzo soprano; Andrew Fuchs, tenor; and Steven Hrycelak, bass.

The Filigree Theatre, Austin's newly launched women-led theatre company, has announced its cast for the Austin Premiere of A DELICATE SHIP, written by Anna Ziegler. Starring David Moxham (Sam), Laura Ray (Sarah) and Nicholaus Weindel (Nate), directed by Elizabeth V. Newman and produced by Stephanie Moore, the production will run Thursdays through Sundays from February 15 25, 2018 at the Santa Cruz Theatre.
