TADA! YOUTH THEATER presents, in conjunction with the now-playing world premiere musical UP TO YOU, IT'S UP TO YOU, a open forum event on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 11am to discuss bullying through leadership, moderated by Miss New York Kaitlin Monte and featuring a special opening number from BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE (http://bwaypride.org). The event is free, and parents and kids are especially encouraged to attend. Miss New York Kaitlin Monte has spent the year engaging discussion in schools and working with State Senator Klein to create legislative reform. Reservations can be made at www.tadatheater.com.

On May 15, Broadway Records released the original cast recording of the Broadway musical, LYSISTRATA JONES, featuring music and lyrics by Lewis Flinn and book by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane. Friends in Theater Company and Story Pirates will join to present Little Shop of Horrors, a one night only benefit production for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York and Western New York to be presented Monday, March 19, 2012 at 7:30pm at the Lucille Lortel Theater.

MAKE MINE MANHATTAN returns to its roots on the New York stage as a pocket revue after a larger Broadway production opened in 1948 and ran for nearly a year at the Broadhurst Theatre. Horwitt (Plain and Fancy, "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis") and music by Emmy Award winner Richard Lewine ("Cinderella", "My Name is Barbra"), this new production is directed by UMC artistic director Ben West (Gatsby, How Now, Dow Jones, Platinum).

LYSISTRATA JONES may have given its final performance in January, but a cast album is on its way! The show's official Twitter page revealed that the cast is currently in the recording studio.
