Paul Chowdhry Adds Dates To Spring Extension of LIVE INNIT Nationwide Tour

Following an initial extension last year, Paul Chowdhry has added another round of extra dates to his first nationwide tour in two years, with his new show Live innit. Following a virtual sell out of the entire tour so far, including a performance at Wembley Arena (which saw Paul become the first Asian stand-up to play a sold out show there) and two nights at Hammersmith Apollo - marking him as one of the UK's biggest selling live comedians - the new dates will see Paul revisit some of the UK's most prestigious venues, including a return to Hammersmith Apollo from 4th April 2018.
Funny Women Awards Have a Record Number of Applicants

Now in their fifteenth year, the Funny Women Awards have received a record number of applicants - the Stage Award, alone, received over 400 entries. That number has now been pruned down to 70 female comedians who will compete at this month's regional final stage.

New & emerging comedians from across the UK have been announced to take part in a series of prestigious comedy competitions and events at Leicester Comedy Festival 2018. The comedians will take part in competitions including Silver Stand Up, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, The UK Pun Championships or the new Circuit Breakers showcase set up following a crowd funding campaign. All the shows will take place as part of the 25th anniversary of Leicester Comedy Festival which takes place from 7-25 February 2018. Following a gladiatorial battle, last night BOB MORTIMER lifted the trophy of Greg Davies' shiny golden bonce as he was crowned Taskmaster series 5 champion. Bob will now join series 1-4 winners Josh Widdicombe, Katherine Ryan, Noel Fielding and Rob Beckett in the ultimate fight for glory when he competes in Taskmaster: Champion of Champions, a brand new two-part special, (2x60'), that airs on Dave this December.
