There's been a real buzz of anticipation around the West End with the impending opening of Everybody's Talking About Jamie. In fact, it has felt like everybody really has been talking about it! So much so that for theatre fans, trying to watch the show without any preconceived ideas is almost impossible, such has been the positive press surrounding the new musical.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is now in previews at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End, following a hit run at Sheffield Crucible. It's directed by Jonathan Butterell and written by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae, and stars John McCrea as Jamie and Josie Walker as his mother Margaret.

As Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae's new musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie opens at Sheffield Theatres, Wilson Way Records release a concept album of the musical with performances by John McCrea who plays Jamie, Josie Walker who plays Margaret and Gillespie Sells, with additional vocals by Sophie Ellis Bextor and Betty Boo.
