Single Tix On Sale for Signature's ANGELS IN AMERICA, 8/3

Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) announces that single tickets for the first New York revival of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, will go on sale on Tuesday, August 3.

The Signature Theatre has released the artwork (below left) for its upcoming production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA, The New York Times reveals. The play will open Off Broadway on September 14. Milton Glaser, who created the art for the original Broadway production (below right), also created the new artwork.

Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) is pleased to announce casting for the first New York revival of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning epic work, ANGELS IN AMERICA: A GAY FANTASIA ON NATIONAL THEMES. The production will be directed by Michael Greif. ANGELS IN AMERICA is the first production of Signature's 20th Anniversary season, celebrating the works of Tony Kushner.

Abingdon Theatre Company's latest hit comedy, INVENTING AVI by Robert Cary and Benjamin Feldman is set to conclude its Off-Broadway run on Sunday, November 1 at Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). New York Musical Theater Festival will present the World Premiere of BONNIE & CLYDE: A FOLKTALE. With book and lyrics by Tony and Lucille Lortel Award nominee Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors) and music by Drama Desk Award nominee Rick Crom, the production is directed by Mark Waldrop. Performances begin September 16 at The American Theatre of Actors.
