In partnership with theater companies across the country, the free festival will feature world premiere works created by multidisciplinary theater artists of color that are all 8 minutes and 46 seconds in length, plus sneak-peeks of the New Play Commission Project Plays.

The 35th annual Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival will offer two consecutive weekends of virtual programming in March 2021: a virtual Writer’s Retreat followed by a weekend of traditional events presented online. The Writer’s Retreat, March 19-21, will include online writing workshops, author events, and a writing marathon.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today a special, one-night-only performance of Aliens, Immigrant & Other Evildoers, a one-man show written and performed by award-winning performance artist José Torres-Tama. The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) is pleased to announce $309,500 in grants to 49 artists and organizations through three grant programs: the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA), Transnational Cultural Remittances (TCR) and Diverse Art Spaces (DAS). These grants support projects taking place through 2017 in all creative disciplines and advance NALAC's commitments to support Latino artistic production.
