The York Theatre Company presented Remembering Mary Martin, a one-night only special event on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peter's. The panel included Carleton Carpenter, Ed Gaynes, Sondra Lee, Robert Schear, and John Sheridan, all colleagues of the legendary Broadway icon, Mary Martin. James Morgan, York Theatre Company Producing Artistic Director, and Stephen Cole, writer, co-creator and director of the upcoming world premier production of Inventing Mary Martin at The York Theatre, moderated the discussion about Ms. Martin's is illustrious and extensive career, with an evening that was full of history, laughter, and little gems from the Golden Age of Musical Theatre. Hallmark Channel announces Bruce Boxleitner ('TRON,' 'Babylon 5,' 'Scarecrow and Mrs. King') has been cast as a series regular in Hallmark Channel's first-ever primetime series, 'Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove.' The two-hour drama is set to premiere Saturday, July 20 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C), with Boxleitner joining the cast regularly as Bob Beldon, owner of the local Cedar Cove Inn, Thyme and Tide.
