Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will go on sale Sunday, August 10 at 10 a.m. for the premiere Atlanta engagement at the Fox Theatre. With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM, the most successful musical of all-time, will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this one of the largest productions on tour in North America. PHANTOM is playing as part of the 2014/2015 Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta series. MISS SAIGON made its highly anticipated return to London on May 21, 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical's 25th anniversary year. This new production is directed by Laurence Connor with musical staging by Bob Avian and additional choreography by Geoffrey Garratt, production design by Totie Driver and Matt Kinley based on an original concept by Adrian Vaux, costume design by Andreane Neofitou, lighting design byBruno Poet, sound design by Mick Potter, and orchestrations by William David Brohn. Musical supervision is by Stephen Brooker and John Rigby. Musical direction is by Alfonso Casado Trigo.

In celebration of its 25 years on Broadway, Cameron Mackintosh brought forth a new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA for a North American Tour, now in its Boston premiere at the ornate Boston Opera House. Directed by Laurence Connor, with choreography by Scott Ambler, impressive set design by Paul Brown, Maria Bjornson's Tony Award-winning original costume design, and evocative lighting design by Paule Constable, the show is a visual spectacle that has enough magical effects to transport the audience to the Paris Opera House in the late 19th century.

MISS SAIGON will make its highly anticipated return to the West End tonight, May 21, 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical's 25th anniversary year. In a recent interview with the Telegraph, producer Cameron Mackintosh admits to regrets from the original production.
Miss Saigon sparked quite a controversy back when it opened on Broadway in 1991, when Jonathan Pryce was cast as the Engineer, a character of Eurasian decent. Mackintosh now admits that it was his 'biggest mistake.' He told Telegraph: 'I said it was a storm in an Oriental tea-cup, thinking I was being clever. I was actually being stupid."

London's West End has been abuzz for weeks about the highly anticipated return of Miss Saigon, featuring a new 25th anniversary production, directed by Laurence Connor, who's helped bring us new productions of other Cameron Mackintosh shows including The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. Now according to the New York Times, the production will make its way to Broaday in 2015 if 'reviews are strong in Britain and a suitable theater becomes available in New York.'
