Origin Theatre Company stages the 2nd annual Bloomsday Breakfast at Bloom's Tavern, 208 East 58th Street, in midtown today, June 16, beginning at 7:30am.

On Saturday, October 10, 2015, Elton John will say goodbye to Boise as he and his band perform at Taco Bell Arena as part of “The Final Curtain” tour. After more than 4,000 concerts and a career spanning over fifty years, Elton is now slowly bringing the curtain down. The tour will feature iconic hits and classic album tracks from Elton's incredible five-decade career, including a selection of songs from his acclaimed re-mastered album, 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,' which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the extension of The Herd, the debut play of Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear currently playing to critical acclaim in its U.S. premiere production in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre. In a four-star review, the Chicago Tribune raves, 'A family drama that sticks with you...this is Steppenwolf acting at its best' and The New York Times says, 'a buoyantly entertaining play [that] breathes with real, complicated life.' Directed by ensemble member and Tony Award-winning director Frank Galati, The Herd adds six additional performances, extending the run through June 14, 2015 with the original cast. Co-founders John Stoops and Tim Evans proudly announce the third season of the Three Oaks Theater Festival, an annual summer event that brings limited-engagement runs of highly- acclaimed, professional productions to audiences in Harbor Country, Michigan.
