On Saturday, October 10, 2015, Elton John will say goodbye to Boise as he and his band perform at Taco Bell Arena as part of “The Final Curtain” tour. After more than 4,000 concerts and a career spanning over fifty years, Elton is now slowly bringing the curtain down. The tour will feature iconic hits and classic album tracks from Elton's incredible five-decade career, including a selection of songs from his acclaimed re-mastered album, 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,' which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Steppenwolf Extends THE HERD

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the extension of The Herd, the debut play of Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear currently playing to critical acclaim in its U.S. premiere production in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre. In a four-star review, the Chicago Tribune raves, 'A family drama that sticks with you...this is Steppenwolf acting at its best' and The New York Times says, 'a buoyantly entertaining play [that] breathes with real, complicated life.' Directed by ensemble member and Tony Award-winning director Frank Galati, The Herd adds six additional performances, extending the run through June 14, 2015 with the original cast. Steppenwolf Theatre Company kicks off the New Year with the Chicago premiere production of Marie Antoinette (February 5, 2015 - May 10, 2015), a modern, witty take on the young queen of France by David Adjmi (Elective Affinities, 3C) and directed by Robert O'Hara (Bootycandy). Next is the US premiere of The Herd (April 2, 2015 - June 7, 2015), the deftly comic story of a suburban English family by actor-playwright Rory Kinnear. Ensemble member and Tony Award winner Frank Galati directs in place of previously announced director K. Todd Freeman, who had an artistic scheduling conflict. Ensemble member Lois Smith joins the cast of The Herd, which features fellow ensemble members Francis Guinan and John Mahoney.
