THE THREEPENNY OPERA at Intiman Theatre Opens 2/16

Seattle Shakespeare Company announced today its plans to produce The Threepenny Opera at the Intiman Theatre. The Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill musical satire about the dapper criminal, Mac the Knife, and the denizens of his seedy underworld will run February 16 through March 6, 2011 for 15 performances only.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim is pleased to announce its 2011 spring season. Since 1984, in over 300 programs, New Yorkers have been able to see, hear, and meet the most acclaimed artists in the world, in an intimate setting unlike any other. After most programs, the artists continue the discussion at a reception in the museum's rotunda. In the short time since he arrived here in 1993 to go to school at Cornish College of the Arts (where he graduated in 1996) this 39 year old from Detroit, Michigan has become one of the hot tickets in the Seattle theater scene. But beyond that, he's also a really great guy.
