Gotham Chamber Opera announces its 2012-2013 season of three productions, featuring two site-specific works. The season begins with GOTHAM @ LPR: ORIENTALE on October 1 and 3, 2012 at (Le) Poisson Rouge and continues with the New York Premiere of Francesco Cavalli's ELIOGABALO(1667) from March 15-29, 2013 at The Box, staged by James Marvel. The season will conclude in June with a production of Daniel Catán's 1988 opera, LA HIJA DE RAPPACCINI (Rappaccini's Daughter), in site-specific venues.

Continuing the 10th Anniversary celebration of The Town Hall's Broadway by the Year ® concert series, Manchester joined the cast of musical theater performers celebrating shows that graced Broadway stages in 1948, including Cole Porter's classic Kiss Me Kate and Frank Loesser's Where's Charley?. More stars have been added to The Sixth Annual Broadway Unplugged concert at The Town Hall on Monday, November 16th at 8 PM. In addition to the previously announced Marc Kudisch, Emily Skinner, Daniel Reichard, Manu Narayan, Jill Paice, Jeffry Denman, William Michals, Lisa Howard, Bill Daugherty, and Sarah Jane McMahon, the cast of this unique concert that features the entire cast singing without microphones (the way it used to be done on Broadway) now also includes opera star John Easterlin, who won two Grammy Awards this year, as well as Nightlife Award winner David Colbert, and Broadway stars Tony Yazbeck and Janet Metz. The show's producer/writer/host, Scott Siegel has revealed that more star announcements are forthcoming.
