Ron West Replaces Joe Flaherty as 'Scrooge' in The Second City's A CHRISTMAS CAROL: TWIST YOUR DICKENS! in LA

There is a casting change in The Second City's "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" presented at the Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre. Ron West will join the cast to play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge. Joe Flaherty was originally announced in that role but needed to leave the production for personal reasons. The twisted telling of Charles Dickens' holiday classic will open November 29 and continue through December 30, 2012. Previews begin November 24.

The producers of A Christmas Story, The Musical have announced that, due to Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath, the production has rescheduled the start of performances on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre until Wednesday November 7 at 7PM.

Broadway's A Christmas Story, The Musical has found its Ralphie. Following a nationwide search, producers of the musical have announced that Johnny Rabe will don Ralphie's trademark spectacles for the holiday engagement at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Rabe will make his Broadway debut in the role.
