For the first time, 'A Christmas Carol' is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale. With music by Pasek & Paul , the film stars Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer, with Sunita Mani, Patrick Page, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley and Jen Tullock. A filmed capture of the Broadway production of Waitress with Sara Bareilles is now in post-production. After previously teasing the film on her Instagram story, a new feature with Bareilles in the New Yorker reveals that she is currently working on a pro-shot of the hit musical at a flim studio in the Meatpacking District.

Into the Woods has officially opened on Broadway and BroadwayWorld was there for the special day. Check out photos of the company from the red carpet!

Tippett will join the previously announced Jaeden Martell and Donald Sutherland in the film, which is being produced by Blumhouse and Ryan Murphy Productions for Netflix. It is expected to be released in 2022.

Producers Barry and Fran Weissler today announced added Monday and Sunday evening performances starting November 1st for the hit Broadway musical Waitress, currently playing at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street, NYC) through January 9, 2022. The schedules for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s can be found below.

The producers of Broadway’s Waitress announced today that on Tuesday October 19, Nik Dodani will take over the role of Ogie and Ben Thompson will step into Earl’s shoes. They join Jennifer Nettles, who will play Jenna through November 24.
