Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Joe Perry to be Inducted into Hollywood Bowl's Hall of Fame

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, original members of iconic rock band AEROSMITH, will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame at this year's Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Saturday, June 22, at 8 pm. The songwriting team of Tyler and Perry have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and are the recipients of countless awards including four GRAMMYs, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards and 12 MTV Video Music Awards, among many other honors. Tyler and Perry first appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in May of 1999, with subsequent appearances in 2002, 2006 and last year's sold-out performance.

Led Zeppelin, paired with the 28-year-old emerging American music talent Gary Clark Jr. The images were shot in London by Danny Clinch, against a textured backdrop at the historic Rivoli Ballroom, where the two sharply dressed subjects stand out in an iconic black and white portrait.

AEROSMITH drew an estimated 35,000 fans this past Monday (11/5/12) in Boston when they performed a pre-Election Day show in the streets of Boston. 1325 Commmonwealth Avenue is the building in Boston where it all began some 40 years ago for AEROSMITH, in an apartment where Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer lived and wrote songs together in the early '70s. It was where they planted the seed that would catapult them to become America's greatest rock band, with sales exceeding 150 million albums worldwide and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry (Aerosmith) and Whoopi Goldberg are the newest stars to join NBCUniversal's broadcast of 'Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together.' The one-hour live benefit telethon will air tonight -- Friday, November 2, (8-9 pm ET) -- across the networks of NBCUniversal, including NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA. The NBC Sports Network and The Weather Channel also have now signed on to air the event.

More prisoners will be taken when Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) return for the second leg of The Global Warming Tour launching November 8. The month-long, 14-city arena tour will take the band to New York City (Madison Square Garden),Los Angeles (Staples Center) and Las Vegas (MGM Grand Garden Arena), among other cities.
