THE 70TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS, aired live from the Beacon Theatre, last night, June 12 on the CBS Television Network. After the ceremony is when the real fun started though, as many of the evening's celebrity guests headed to DKC/O&M's annual post-show party at the Baccarat Hotel. 2016 marks the centenary of the year Eugene O'Neill began writing ground-breaking plays in Provincetown, considered the birthplace of modern American theater. Coimbra, Portugal -- Next summer, a new edition of the International Surrealism Now will take place at the Multimedia P.O.R.O.S. Museum, in the village of Condeixa-a-Nova, in Portugal.

Strawdog Theatre Company, Artistic Director Hank Boland and Hugen Hall Artistic Director Anderson Lawfer are proud to announce the third production in their 2015 - 2016 Hugen Hall season, Elizabeth Lovelady's world premiere adaptation of Rudolph Mate'sfilm D.O.A., March 5 - April 5, directed by Elizabeth Lovelady at Hugen Hall in Strawdog Theatre Company, 3829 N. Broadway Street has extended through April 10. The performance schedule is Saturdays at 4 p.m., Sundays at 12 p.m., and Monday and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Additional performances are Saturday, April 9 at 4 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 at 12 and 4 p.m. Single tickets are $15 and are currently on sale. Carolines on Broadway is inviting revelers to laugh in the New Year in the heart of Times Square when the comedy hotspot presents its annual New Year's Eve Spectacular on Thursday, December 31, with shows at 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., 1626 Broadway, between 49th and 50th Streets, New York City.

THE PLAY ABOUT MY DAD, by Boo Killebrew, which opened at New York's 59E59 Theatres in June 2011, tells of the author's father, a doctor in Gulfport, Mississippi who stayed behind to take care of patients as Hurricane Katrina hit in August 2005. The play will be performed in Raven's intimate West Stage space. The production officially opens tonight, October 27, and runs through November 28, 2015. The Play About My Dad by Boo Killebrew, which opened at New York's 595 E 59 Theatres in June 2011, tells of the author's father, a doctor in Gulfport, Mississippi who stayed behind to take care of patients as the storm hit in August 2005. New Orleans, as the largest city to be hit by the storm, appropriately received most of the media attention, but Katrina's effects on the Gulf Coast were devastating. Many coastal towns were destroyed, 235 people were killed and more than one million Mississippians were affected.

Raven Theatre's cast and creative team for The Play About My Dad has been announced by Michael Menendian, the company's Co-Founding Artistic Director.

The 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announced the 2015 Next Link Project musical selections. The 10 musicals, and three initial invited productions, were announced as part of the 12th edition of the Festival, which will take place in July at locations around midtown Manhattan in New York City.
