STARS IN THE HOUSE Anniversary Show Brings Fundraising Total To Over $750,000 In Support of The Actors Fund

The anniversary episode broke the single-show fundraising record, raising over $28,300 (including a $10,000 matching grant from the Frances Lear Foundation).  Now, after over 375 episodes, “Stars In The House” has raised over $751,842 for The Actors Fund & $200,000 for other charity organizations who have needed support throughout the pandemic.

The Actors Fund announced today that following a membership pre-sale period for our Actors Fund members, tickets to the Ragtime Reunion Concert (April 27 at the Minskoff Theatre) will go on sale to the general public today at 12pm. The Actors Fund announced today that the music of the Tony Award-winning Ragtime will once again be heard on Broadway in a one-night only benefit concert on Monday, April 27, 2020, at the Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th St.). This celebratory benefit concert will star original cast members, with six-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald ('Sarah') and two-time Tony Award-winner, Brian Stokes Mitchell ('Coalhouse Walker, Jr.') scheduled to appear. Further casting will be announced and tickets will go on sale at a later date. All proceeds from this one-night only benefit concert will support The Actors Fund.

Three-time Tony Award winning Director Jack O'Brien presented Actor André De Shields, who celebrated the 50th year of his acting career in 2019 by scoring his first Tony Award, for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Hermes in Hadestown, with the 2019 Father George Moore Artistic Impact Award at Encore Ovation – A Celebration of Aging Through Art at Sardi's on November 18. O'Brien directed De Shields in The Full Monty and Impression on Broadway.
