a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Shriver Hall Concert Series (SHCS) - Baltimore's premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists - today announces its updated fall programming, featuring a three-concert virtual series.

The first single from Multi GRAMMY®-nominated vocal powerhouse Ryan Shaw’s forthcoming album IMAGINING MARVIN has its worldwide premiere today via Soul Tracks.

Multi-genre recording artist Damien Sneed whose latest tour stop at Wharton Center celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be returning to campus as an artist-in-residence.  Sneed will work with Wharton Center and the MSU College of Music, helping to bring social impact programming to both institutions.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra and New Japan Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, Vienna Philharmonic, Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy, Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy Okushiga, and Decca recording label-are joining together to create a social media celebration-#happybirthdayseiji-of the beloved conductor's 85th birthday.

Black Opera Productions LLC, and Presenting Partner, Brookfield Place, will present Jessye Norman at 75: A Celebration LIVE on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 6:00 PM ET, to commemorate the legendary singer's first birthday in memoriam, presented in support of the Estate of Jessye Norman and Jessye Norman School of the Arts, and the forthcoming documentary film Black Opera. 

Multi GRAMMY®-nominated vocal powerhouse Ryan Shaw's new studio album IMAGINING MARVIN is set for a November 27th release via Shaw's own FORM (Fans Of Real Music) Records with distribution by Broadway Records. Inspired by one of Shaw's idols, Marvin Gaye, IMAGINING MARVIN is the powerful new project that originally premiered live in New York City.

In the year that the Proms turns 125 years old, the 2020 season brings the spirit of the Proms to music-lovers at home. BBC Radio 3 and BBC Four broadcasts treasures from the past 30 years of the Proms across six weeks, before two weeks of incredible live performances at the Royal Albert Hall.

National Sawdust's physical doors are still closed but, thanks to a generous grant from the Alphadyne Foundation, the mission of providing artists the resources and support they need to create and present new work continues with the Digital Discovery Festival, featuring over 100 artists from May through August.
