BWW Review: Broadway Sacramento Welcomes FALSETTOS

William Finn and James Lapine's Tony-nominated revival of Falsettos has embarked on its national tour and will be in Sacramento through March 17. It originally premiered on Broadway in 1992 and won Tonys for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score. This tour of the revival boasts a cast of accomplished actors, including Max von Essen (Tony nominee for his role as Henri Baurel in An American in Paris) as Marvin.

Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce that individual tickets for FALSETTOS will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 1. FALSETTOS will play Broadway In Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited two-week engagement May 28 June 9, 2019.

Jujamcyn Theaters and NETworks Presentations announced principal casting for the North American Tour of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS. Leading the National Company will be Broadway superstars Nick Adams (La Cage aux Folles and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as "Whizzer," Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn The Musical and Rent) as "Trina" and Max von Essen (An American in Paris, Tony Award-nominee, Evita and Les Miserables) as "Marvin."

Chilina Kennedy Led A SIGN OF THE TIMES to Premiere at Delaware Theater Co

A Sign of the Times, a new musical featuring the songs of Petula Clark and multiple hit-makers of the 1960s, will join the Delaware Theater Company's 40th Anniversary Season, from November 28 - December 23. Featuring a book by legendary comedy writer and six-time Emmy Award-winner Bruce Vilanch, based on an original story by Richard Robin, the show is directed by Gabriel Barre (Amazing Grace) with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter (School of Rock). The production will star Broadway notables Chilina Kennedy (Beautiful), Drew Seeley (Jersey Boys), Crystal Lucas-Perry (Lincoln Center's Bull In A China Shop), and Ryan Silverman (The Phantom of the Opera). Complete casting will be announced at a later date. Opening night is set for December 8.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in the Berkshires, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, announced today that Associate Artist Christopher Innvar will play "Torvald" in Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2. Innvar replaces the previously announced Shuler Hensley.
