Laurissa Romain aka 'Lala' will release new original music at her Birthday Celebration Concert. The event is set for Thursday, March 31st at 7pm at The Green Room 42. Audiences are invited to join Laurissa 'Lala' Romain, as the night will double as the official release party for her latest new songs, which she premieres a brand new set. You won't want to miss out on seeing the first live performance by Lala's special guests; the newest boyband sensation, 'Outloud,' (@outloudboys). 

The series stars Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis, Ashley Nicole Black and Skye Townsend. The new season will feature more than 40 celebrity guest stars, including Ava DuVernay, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Raven-Symoné, Wanda Sykes, David Alan Grier, Jemele Hill, Kel Mitchell, Michael Ealy, Wayne Brady, Bob the Drag Queen, Vanessa Williams, and more.

The Paley Center for Media will present A Salute to Black Achievements in Television Presented by Citi from February 1-March 1. This monthlong celebration will include an interactive exhibit focusing on comedy, spotlight BET Network's 40th anniversary, as well as family activities, education classes, and screenings featuring some of the most influential names in entertainment. Entry to the exhibit and screenings are free and open to the public.
