This just in... The Tony Award nominated revival of ON THE TOWN will conclude its run on Broadway on Sunday, September 6 following 28 previews and 368 regular performances, making this the longest-running Broadway production of the show since the 1944 original.

New York City Ballet principal dancer and Theatre World Award Winner Megan Fairchild will depart the Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN on August 9 to return to the NYC Ballet. Fairchild will be succeeded by New York City Ballet soloist Georgina Pazcoguin, who will step into the role of 'Ivy Smith' for performances from August 11 - 23. Beginning August 25,Misty Copeland will make her Broadway debut as 'Ivy Smith' for 12 performances only, through September 6.

PIPPIN will play a limited engagement at The Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN November 17 - 22. Tickets for PIPPIN will go on sale to the public Today, July 31st at 10:00 AM and will be available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, The Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000), the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood, and all Ticketmaster centers (901.743.ARTS).

TUCK EVERLASTING, the new musical based on Natalie Babbitt's beloved best-selling novel of the same name, will play Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) this spring with opening night set for Sunday, April 17, 2016. The show will begin previews Wednesday, March 23, 2016 (first preview was previously announced for March 19). Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Tony Award winning Broadway Musical PIPPIN will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 29.  PIPPIN will play Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for two weeks only, July 29 - August 9, 2015.

The 2015 Tony nominated musical On The Town announced today a brand new online reservation system, allowing for an online seat reservation prior to a ticket purchase. Beginning Friday, May 22, ticket-buyers can go to OnTheTownBroadway.com and reserve their tickets, at no charge, for an upcoming performance. Once the reservation is complete, the tickets can be paid for at the Lyric Theatre Box Office (213 West 42nd Street) up until one hour prior to curtain.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) just honored internationally acclaimed theatre designer and six-time Tony Award Winner Bob Crowley at the NYTW 2015 Spring Gala last night. The new Broadway revival of On The Town was recorded in November 2014 for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. On The Town, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).
