With college theatre program auditions just around the corner, we're highlighting some of the most prestigious theatre programs from all across the country. Today we're chatting with faculty from the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts about how their program is adaptable to changing trends and how it pairs professional training with a traditional college experience. FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents the incomparable Tony Award nominees NELL BENJAMIN and LAURENCE O'KEEFE in I REMEMBER IT DIFFERENTLY, their return to the venue as they showcase songs from some of their most beloved musicals.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be featured at this year's New York Comic Con from October 3 to 6, 2019 with a booth and panel.

The lineup is set for the first of three Broadway Sings concerts honoring singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. On September 30 at The Green Room 42, this Broadway Sings spinoff concert will feature original a?oeunpluggeda?? arrangements of Bareilles' hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band. The night will offer two identical shows at 7pm and 9:30pm.

The biggest day for Broadway fans, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, raised $870,167.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child last night welcomed fans a?oeBack to Hogwartsa?? with the launch of a new worldwide campaign in the heart of Times Square.

On Friday, August 30th, SCENERY launched Merde in the Curtain Call collection. This handbag is the 'Break a leg' bag for the dance world! 'Merde' is the word dancers use to wish each other a good show. The bag is created from black drops, called legs, that hang on either side of the stage separating the world onstage from the world offstage and featuring gold metallic embroidery with the message “merde”. 

Since creating and starring in In the Heights and Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda has become one of the most influential creators on Broadway. His work has earned him great acclaim and he's collected too many awards to count, including a Pulitzer Prize, an Emmy Award, three Grammy Awards, three Tony Awards and a Kennedy Center Honor.

Three all-star lineups are set for the next concerts in the new Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On September 30, October 21, and November 18, The Green Room 42 will present three different casts for Sara Bareilles: Unplugged each month, featuring original a?oeunpluggeda?? arrangements of the singer-songwriter's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band. Each night will offer two identical shows: 7pm and 9:30pm.

It was announced today that Ilana Levine, host of the popular podcast 'Little Known Facts,' will appear in 'Changemakers: A Celebration of Women and StateraArts.' Levine joins Rachel Spencer Hewitt in a panel talk on motherhood and the Parent Artist Advocacy League.
